    Mr. Sukut started studying martial arts in the early 80s. In 1990, Mr. Sukut was nationally recognized as the instructor of the year. His karate center in Fargo, North Dakota, also received national recognition in 1990 and 1991 as a dojo (martial arts school) of the year. Since then, he has studied several other martial arts and has been teaching for over 40 years. He has trained in multiple Okinawan Karate styles, including traditional Okinawan Seidokan Karate and Traditional Okinawan Ryukyu Kempo Karate and Kobudo.
