Mr. Sukut started Martial Arts in the early 80’s. Since then he has studied several styles of Martial Arts, and has been teaching Martial arts for over 24 years.

As the Dojo Headmaster for the YMCA Karate Program in Fargo ND, he received national recognition as the 1990 Nihonryu Instructor of the Year. The YMCA Karate Center also received national recognition as the 1990 and 1991 Dojo (school) of the Year. Dennis now resides in Wylie, Tx.

Dee Dee Sukut, Shihan-dai

  • 1st  Degree Black Belt Nihonryu Kobudo (weapons)
  • 1st Degree Black Belt Iaijutsu (sword)
  • 1st Degree Black Belt Goshinjutsu

Mrs. Sukut started in women’s self defense in the late 1970’s and Judo in the mid 80’s, and has studied several styles of Martial Arts since then. She has been teaching Martial art for over 17 years.

She received national recognition as the 1991 Woman of the Year. She also received national recognition in Martial Arts weapons in 1992.

Daniel Peterson Jr., Ph.D., Sensei

  • 2nd Degree Black Belt Seidokan Karate

Dr. Peterson started training Seidokan in October, 2000 and holds the rank of Nidan He has been teaching children and adults classes for 5 years.

Dr. Peterson is a Verizon Distinguished Engineer and works in the area of optical fiber and an Adjunct Professor in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Peterson lives in Sachse, Tx

Nick Servello, Sempai

  • 1st Degree Black Belt Seidokan Karate

Nick began studying martial arts while entering kindergarten in Wylie, Tx in September, 2000. Nick now attends Wylie High School and has been training continually since he started. At the end of 2007, he earned his Shodan, 1st degree black belt. He has been teaching kids and adults for two years. Since Nick is so young, kids identify with him on a different level, giving them higher self-confidence.
